  • Browse the library catalog, request books and articles via an inter-library loan
  • Search and read newspaper, magazine and journal articles online

  • Browse and read through nearly 11,000 electronic books
  • "Ask a Librarian" questions via text messaging, IM or Live consultation (desk-top sharing)

DSPS -Disabled Student Programs & Services
"Students with disabilities who are requesting accommodations should use the following SBCC procedure: contact the DSPS office, present documentation of disability, meet with a DSPS specialist, discuss options for services and accommodations, and give a signed DSPS accommodation agreement to your instructor for his or her signature."

Counseling (academic & personal)
The college provides many counseling services to assist students in their educational endeavors.
